Moonpig appears on the new Howling Owl Records podcast.
“They invited me onto their podcast to help talk through some highlights of the year but sadly i couldnt make the recording in the day so Adrian interviewed me last night when we were out. They cut out all the end of year stuff and got me talking about being sick, my deceased pets (dead animals is a regular feature on their podcast), and Christopher Maloney’s willy (which for the record i don’t want in my mouth).” Starts 36mins / 40mins in. then they stitch me up at 50min30secs. Brilliant new Falling Stacks & Oliver Wilde ( GuMM cover) songs on the podcast too.”

Speill Berg - ‘Junk Folder’
(Album artwork above)
‘Junk Folder’ is a collection of songs recorded on my iphone & camera. They were made randomly during 2010 & 2011. First takes, no thought, no planning, no talent. Some songs feature an old battered guitar i rescued from the tip as it was being throw away by a stranger. As i saved the guitar i cut my hand on some glass and bled all over it. I left it out of tune, i preferred it that way.
To receive Speill Berg’s ‘Junk Folder’ please email > heinzjunkins@gmail.com > with a photo and/or written description of something you want to throw away. Something that is no longer any use to you. JUNK you want rid of. This could be absolutely anything! Physical or digital.
You’ll then be emailed the album and you will automatically join Speill Berg’s new ‘Junk Exchange’ club. You’ll be part of his ‘Chain Gang’.
Please recycle your junk. Thank you.
